This policy does not cover trades or transactions completed off of the Thread Swap platform. When payment for the full value of items is not exchanged through the Thread Swap platform, we cannot guarantee that both parties will ship and transact as promised. You bear all risks associated with any such transactions.

To avoid a problem with a sale, we advise sellers to be as descriptive and detailed as possible when creating your listings. We encourage buyers to review the listing photos, description and item condition, and if you have any questions, please ask the seller for additional details, measurements or photos.

We don't release payment to the seller until you tell us you've received your order as described. Once payment has been released, all sales are final and no refunds will be provided.
You have 3 days after delivery to inform us if the item has been misrepresented by reporting the problem. We will make a case, in order to do so you must provide photos, a description, a receipt or proof of purchase, and any other relevant information. Otherwise payment will be automatically released to the seller. Once payment has been released, all sales are final and no refunds will be provided. Remember, you can always re-list the item.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
If we verify your claim, we'll send you a label to return the order and refund your payment.
All returns must be shipped back within 5 days of approval to be eligible for a refund.
We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

When an order is cancelled, we process a full refund back to the original payment method right away.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you used a credit card, please note that we send the funds back to your bank within 2 business days of order cancellation, but the exact date that your bank posts it to your statement can vary depending on the bank. Please allow up to 1 full billing cycle for your bank to post your refund to your statement.
If payment wasn't received, then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
If you used Credits, the funds will immediately return to your account at the time of order cancellation.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
